No reported deaths in related to the bridge being upturned this morning. A few muggles were injured but luckily no one is deathly hurt. Though, given how heavy the rain has gotten it's possible not all facts are in. Expect a full report on it tomorrow through the Prophet.

They won't run the story. In fact I was told that I should be careful what I say bout my employer. I could have lost my job just by writing it. Instead I'm being assigned to assignments where I won't cause trouble for the time being.

A copy can be owled to you if you want. No one else is going to get to see it unless I find another outlet.

There was a bridge upturned? Do you have any idea where it was? Please don't say near London

I didn't overhear where it was, just that it happened.

That's worrisome. At least there haven't been any deaths reported.

With the rain it's hard to tell.

Since you are a reporter, I've no doubt you've heard the news that the meteorologists are completely baffled as to where this rain came from. They were expecting nothing but sun for the next few days.

Meteorologists have a bad habit of getting the weather rather wrong though.

Only sometimes, but a storm this big and one that has been going on all day? How could they have missed that on the radars?

I'm not a meteorologist, I wouldn't know.

You might want to check your sources. Mine say there were quite a few dead at the scene.

Law enforcement hadn't reported any yet to us.

Law enforcement is full of shite, muggle and wizarding.

There are a lot of things full of that.

Obviously. The world is full of people who need to take a shit every day. And yes, that was my attempt at being witty.

I'm left in awe at the attempt.

What bridge? I've been out of town. Shite. Damn Death Eaters.

I'm sorry to have caused you that trouble, but I just wanted the truth.

You could always try The Quibbler. I know that they post a lot of mad stories, but people read it. I'm sure they can see the difference. Either way, I would like a copy. Thank you.

I'll send you a copy, but there's no way I'm putting it in the Quibbler. Not only would no one believe it, but I'd lose my job. Some people can't afford not to work. You can show it around your group though, but don't go trying to send it off to anything. My editors have read it already so that won't work.

Okay, okay. Thanks for the copy anyhow and thank you for trying at least. That does mean more than you can know. I'll tell my group, and we'll keep it amongst ourselves.

Won't be in a position to try anything for a bit, but if you have any stories that don't involve my bosses, then I'm willing to put the work in to try and get them shown.

Hopefully you'll think of me in a good way when that happens, then.

I don't think badly of you now. We all have jobs to fulfill and tensions are running high. We'll just say that our meeting was a bad day for the both of us. Neither of us were in a very good mood I don't believe. I know I wasn't. I hope that you don't think badly of me for past actions. I admit that at school I was a right arrogant wanker, but I have changed since then, whether I let people see it or not. I don't like to let people see what I'm really like. The less they expect of me, the easier it is for me. That's the way its always been, and somehow, I don't think that will ever change. I can be a prick...but that's not at all who I truly am. And I really don't know why I'm explaining myself to you...

You can't expect people to judge you on what you say. Actions speak a lot louder than anything else, it's not just something Mums say to make you behave. But, it's your life, you can do what you like with it.
